There was a point after Nevermind and Gish went huge when Bitch Vig was the hottest producer anywhere. In 1992, he really started hitting his stride, producing Sonic Youth’s Dirty and L7’s Bricks Are Heavy. However, he also worked on a lesser known outfit’s 2nd album on Mammoth Records, Chainsaw Kittens. The album was Flipped Out In Singapore. The record started to occupy our time while we sat around and waited for Siamese Dream to come out. We found out that this record held up on its own merits just fine. This is the first song from the album, “Connie, I’ve Found The Door”.
